DBI chief inspectors signed off on family jobs, properties
The Department of Building Inspection is launching an internal investigation after finding that several inspectors oversaw work performed by their family members, who also had a financial interest in the buildings.
Two of the DBI officials involved in the investigation hold high-ranking positions, including the role of chief inspector.
