A bill in Russia aims to confiscate assets from those spreading intentionally false information about Moscow's military actions in Ukraine.
The proposed measure would apply to those inciting extremist activities, calling for sanctions against Russia, or discrediting the armed forces.
The existing law against discrediting the Russian military is regularly used to silence critics of President Vladimir Putin. [ more ]
