Jake McCabe is probably a week with a lower-body injury. It could be sooner, but I would guess a week. Chris Tanev is a possible surgery (situation). This last injury is totally different, so that is the surgery part. He is going to get looked at this week. Anthony Stolarz is skating and getting better. Right now, he is still (indefinite). He hasn't even been in a practice with us. He is just (skating) on his own.

Rangers prospect Jaroslav Chmelar, recalled earlier this week, will make his NHL debut tomorrow for the Rangers. He draws into the fourth line in place of Adam Edstrom tonight as Mike Sullivan threw all of the lines into a blender. It's great that Chmelar is playing, but sitting Edstrom is certainly a curious move. In addition, Connor Mackey will dress in place of Matthew Robertson, which appears to be more of a sideways move,

Whether Michael Misa or San Dickinson actually play for the San Jose Sharks on Oct. 9 when the puck drops against the Vegas Golden Knights is yet to be seen, but so far, the two rookies have made the team, as the rebuild in San Jose continues to roll along. The Sharks appear to have been the last team in the NHL to officially release its roster.
