Tesla again threatens to sue Cybertruck buyers who try to resell the cars
Tesla has reintroduced a contract clause that allows them to sue Cybertruck buyers for reselling the vehicle within the first year of ownership.
The clause requires buyers to offer the Cybertruck back to Tesla at a reduced price before attempting to resell, and Tesla can refuse to buy it back.
Tesla may seek injunctive relief or demand liquidated damages of $50,000 or greater if the provision is breached. [ more ]
