Ethan Workinger showed power and plate discipline in 2025, but inconsistent contact and a low .246 BABIP limited his overall offensive production.
The first half of the season he spent with the High-A Rome Emperors where he appeared in 26 games and had a spectacular 1.75 ERA, and 2.25 FIP. He limited walks quite well, with a walk rate that sat at 2.50 per 9, and struck out a rotund 10 batters per 9. If you were not able to get on base via walk, you were not going to find much success with the bat as he allowed just a .182 batting average against
Kendy appeared in 16 games, 10 as a starter, in 2025. He began the season with the FCL Braves where he really stood out - appearing in 6 games where he had a 7.46 K/9 and 3.83 BB/9 rate. With an ERA of just 1.81, Kendy forced the Braves to promote him to full season ball, which is a bit of a surprise given his lack of experience in professional baseball.
On the season Luke appeared in 91 games for the Stripers and hit a very respectable .272/.364/.340 in those games good for a 98 wRC+. With offense not really being his calling card, being able to tune in with a solid line while providing solid defense up the middle, Luke gave the Braves organization really good value despite the injury struggles. He rarely struck out (12% K%), walked at a good rate (12%), and found his MaxEV all the way up to 109 MPH.
Baumann received a signing bonus of $747,500, which was enough to lure him away from his commitment to the University of Central Florida. What were the expectations for 2025? After a solid 2024 campaign, the expectations for Baumann coming into this season were reasonably higher, especially after he posted a 3.18 ERA across 20 appearances (19 starts) between Augusta and Rome.
