The latest Apple Watch SE impressed us with all of its upgrades this year, but the Apple Watch Series 11 is still the better option if you're an iPhone owner who requires more advanced health notifications. Thankfully it, like the SE, is now down to a new record-low price, starting at $349.99 ($50 off) at Amazon and Walmart for the 40mm, GPS-enabled version. Unlike the SE 3, Apple's entry-level wearable, the Apple Watch Series 11 offers features like EKG readings, blood oxygen tracking, and the FDA-cleared hypertension notifications.
While there were solid improvements in the last generation of Apple's popular wearable, the huge 24-hour battery life in Apple Watch Series 11 means this smartwatch has finally become what it always promised to be: a device capable of running all day and all night, which is especially for tasks like sleep tracking. Based on my time with a Series 11 version provided for review by Apple, if you already wear a Series 10 Apple Watch, much will feel the same.
Apple Watch Series 11, along with the Watch Ultra 3 and Watch SE (3rd Generation), were unveiled on Tuesday by the Cupertino tech giant during its 'Awe Dropping' launch event. Apart from the smartwatches, the company also launched the latest iPhone 17 series, which includes the standard iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The Apple Watch Series 11 succeeds the Watch Series 10, which was unveiled in September 2024.
The new Series 11 follows the 10th version of the Apple Watch that the company released last year. It didn't break any new ground when it came to the wearable's design, but Apple managed to make its smartwatch 10 percent thinner and 10 percent lighter than the Series 9, despite the Series 10 having a slightly bigger case and the largest and brightest OLED screen in an Apple Watch to date.
