Donaldson calling on Brits to "go on strike for a week" from 2 to 9 February, the right-wing activist says that "native Brits must always come first." On his website he explains that mending "immigration" is not "anywhere near as complicated as politicians pretend." He is calling on the government to leave the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and to "deport" all illegal immigrants from the UK and those who commit sexual and violent crimes.

One word has had a big impact on Germany over the last week and a half: Stadtbild.

The South African populist, nationalist and anti-immigration group "Operation Dudula" is once more making headlines, having recently launched a campaign targeting migrant children. By arguing that there are not enough school placements for South African children, the overtly xenophobic group has called for the exclusion of migrant children from public schools. Operation Dudula is known for its head-turning publicity stunts. Members of the group have, for instance,blocked access to public hospitals for foreignersin the country, saying they should not use facilities funded by taxpayers' money.

Nine people have been arrested after protests erupted outside a hotel in north London as rival groups faced off over its continued use to accommodate asylum seekers. The Met Police stated that there were nine arrests, including seven on suspicion of breaching Public Order Act conditions, and one for a racially aggravated public order offence.
