Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar has dismissed criticism of the party's oil tax plans and is pressing ahead with the multibillion-pound windfall tax on oil profits.
Over 800 oil, engineering, and business executives in Aberdeen claimed that the tax could result in the loss of 100,000 North Sea jobs.
Sarwar defended the windfall tax as a measure to combat the cost of living crisis and to invest in the transition to net zero and create green jobs.
