WASHINGTON The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected an appeal from conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and left in place the $1.4 billion judgment against him over his description of the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting as a hoax staged by crisis actors. The Infowars host had argued that a judge was wrong to find him liable for defamation and infliction of emotional distress without holding a trial on the merits
Yeah. And I think he got screwed over in business. I think a lot of what he said was true, but he'd be like, I'm flying to Austin to come on the show. And then halfway through, he'd call up and say, I think they're gonna kill me. I'm turning back. And then next time, a couple of times he said that, I didn't believe he'd be there.
Aldenberg, like the parents and other relatives of the 20 children and six educators killed in the 2012 school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, has been the subject of false conspiracy theories spread by Jones on his "Infowars" broadcasts. Aldenberg was among the law enforcement officers who responded to the school and found the dead children. That then led to years of abuse from people who believed the shooting was a hoax, he has said. His share of the judgment totaled around $120 million.
Jones raged at Shroyer and mocked his complaints about him. He would try to control the show.' He wouldwhatever, total lie. And then as all the articles come out, Jones censored Shroyer on Trump criticism and Israel.' So let's see if Shroyer comes out and apologizes, Jones said in a clip of his own, adding: Oh no, he's gonna say, I didn't really exactly say that.
Dillon and Jones highlighted Bondi's statement about having thousands of hours of video, expressing skepticism about the claim that it contains no compromising material on powerful individuals.
"DEVELOPING SCANDAL: Macron, Starmer, and Merz caught on video on their return from Kiev. A bag of white powder on the table. Macron quickly pockets it, Merz hides the spoon," Jones claimed.
