The Artificial Intelligence [Regulation] Bill has been introduced in the House of Lords, focusing on trust, transparency, inclusion, innovation, interoperability, public engagement, and accountability.
The Bill proposes the establishment of an AI Authority to coordinate existing regulators and ensure a consistent approach to AI regulation across industries and applications.
The AI Authority would also review existing legislation to assess its suitability in addressing the challenges and opportunities presented by AI. [ more ]
