Advisory council created to ensure diversity in businesses participating in next year's Democratic National Convention

The Democratic National Convention host committee in Chicago has created an advisory council to promote diversity in participation of businesses owned by diverse entrepreneurs.
The council will work with the host committee to set diversity spending goals and establish equity practices and community engagement strategies.
The diversity council is made up of representatives from over 20 Illinois-based organizations focused on creating a more inclusive workforce. [ more ]
