2019 Nationals World Series Champion hired as first base coach for AL West club

Kurt Suzuki, hired on a one-year deal by the Los Angeles Angels, appointed former Nationals outfielder Adam Eaton as the team's first base coach.

John Gibbons will be the Los Angeles Angels bench coach in 2026, joining Kurt Suzuki's staff with Adam Eaton as first-base coach.

The Angels hired John Gibbons as bench coach and Adam Eaton as first-base coach under new manager Kurt Suzuki.
