Trial offers hope for millions that jab could prevent rheumatoid arthritis
Scientists have found that an existing drug for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) called abatacept could help prevent the onset of the disease.
The drug works by targeting the cause of inflammation, and a clinical trial found that it was effective in preventing RA in those at risk. [ more ]
