A man was found with stab wounds and treated at the scene by paramedics. Despite their efforts, he died shortly after their arrival. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
A man has been injured after the van he was driving exploded after it hit the ceiling of an underground car park in south-west London, the Metropolitan Police has said. The force was called to reports of an explosion at a shopping centre on Queen's Road, Wimbledon at 10:10 GMT on Monday. The London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade (LFB) were also called to the scene.

Mortimer-Barrett defeated fellow Briton Christine Truman to win the 1961 ladies' singles title, three years after losing her first final against Althea Gibson.
