The Black Culture Market will be back in Brixton this December with its festive edition, bringing together over 40 Black-owned businesses for a weekend of shopping, culture and community. Taking place at The Department Store in Brixton, the indoor market will run across Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th December 2025, celebrating entrepreneurs and creatives of African and Caribbean descent. This year's Time Out list of the capital's top festive fairs stretches beyond 30, giving you more than enough places to sip mulled wine, snack on gingerbread and get some present shopping inspo. Only the finest markets make the cut, with each one judged on its food, drink and gift shopping options (as well as overall Christmassy vibe).

The annual cluster of outdoor ice rinks that pop up like mushrooms around London in the winter will be joined by a new one - in the centre of Leicester Square. "Now is the winter of our disco tents - made glorious ice by this rink machine." As part of West End's annual fenced-off Christmas market, they're introducing an ice rink in the middle circle, where you will be able to twirl your way around the statue of William Shakespeare in the middle. That's a bit of an improvement on previous years when the statue was covered up by the Christmas sheds.
