Sombr played with the rockier edges of vocals that sound comfortable with everything from punk to pop. His falsetto soared on "Fake Plastic Trees," and I hope everyone in the crowd enjoyed it, because as much as sombr sings about smoking cigarettes, those notes might not be available to him for too many more years.

The Head and The Heart have announced they will play their self-titled debut album in full on a 15th anniversary tour this May. Folk act The Brudi Brothers will open each show. The Boss is heading back to the Golden State. Yes, that's right: Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band are set to perform three big shows in California.
