Rogue Core is a long-awaited sequel to a top modern co-op shooter, keeping similar gameplay loop, aesthetics, and mechanics while adding changes for a more challenging experience. The early access build offers five classes, and the Guardian is recommended first for its tankiness, strong area-of-effect ability, armor-restoring sustain, and team durability. Rogue Core also adds character upgrades during runs, so players should handle Workbench and Toolboxes, mine Expenite, and complete upgrade tasks before starting each new enemy wave to avoid time pressure.
