Stjarnorp Castle, a ruin located west of Lake Roxen near Linkoping, was originally constructed between 1654 and 1662. It is believed to have been designed by Nicodemus Tessin the Elder. The estate featured a four-storey stone main building with a stair tower facing the park and two wings oriented towards Lake Roxen. The castle is illustrated in Erik Dahlbergh's work, Suecia Antiqua et Hodierna, published in 1697. The renovation project involves a diverse team of architects and engineers.
