Shame Studios New Roots Rug Collection Benefits Survivors of Domestic Abuse

Shame Studios, founded by Hector Coombs, creates rugs with a focus on creative expression and humane production. The latest collection, Roots, collaborates with Furnishing Futures to support survivors of domestic abuse. Each of the 14 handwoven designs features natural motifs and colors that evoke safety and comfort. For every rug sold, another is donated to a beneficiary of Furnishing Futures. The collection is inspired by stories from women and children supported by the charity, with each rug named after a client’s chosen alias.
