Marko Morciano, a lifestyle and travel content creator, purchased a 614-square-foot apartment in Rome in April 2025 that featured outdated furniture, overwhelming salmon-pink bathroom tiles, and a cluttered bedroom with a bright red bed. With an extremely limited budget, he avoided major renovations and instead relied on creativity and DIY projects completed over five months. He transformed the space by incorporating bold primary colors like blue, yellow, and red, curating a mix of vintage and modern furniture, and creating custom decor and lighting installations. Notably, he repurposed old bathroom tiles from the previous owner into a fuchsia sculptural light fixture, demonstrating resourceful design thinking.
