Pyramid House / Khan Bonshek
Khan Bonshek completed the retrofit and refurbishment of Pyramid House, a postmodern exhibition home originally designed for the 1981 Homeworld Expo in Milton Keynes. The house was one of 36 architectural landmark homes built by the Milton Keynes Development Corporation to showcase future trends in technology and housing. After more than 40 years, the property required a thoughtful and strategic update to meet contemporary needs. The project created a modern, energy-efficient home for current owners. The clients were a young couple who wanted a distinct change from their traditional townhouse in Islington. They sought an architecturally interesting property in a quiet location with commuting access to the city.
