Photos capture progress of Gallows Corner works three weeks in
Briefly

The dismantling of the Gallows Corner flyover is in progress, nearly three weeks into its full closure. Sections of the flyover have been removed along the A127 and Eastern Avenue East, visible in recent drone images. Heavy machinery and lorries are actively transporting the dismantled parts from the site. Havering Council's Cllr Gillian Ford stated that the project remains "on track," and related infrastructure works are also occurring on the A127. Transport for London emphasized that this closure is necessary to prevent more disruptive unplanned closures in the future.
Photos have captured the next stage of the Gallows Corner works, with some parts of the flyover now completely removed. It is now almost three weeks into the full closure and the dismantling of the flyover is underway.
At the other end of the flyover, along Eastern Avenue East, panels have also been removed, as captured in drone images. Lorries can also be seen transporting the parts away from the junction.
Deputy leader of Havering Council Cllr Gillian Ford previously confirmed in a statement on social media that the works are "on track".
Transport for London (TfL) called the closure "essential" to avoid "unplanned closures of the flyover in the future," which they said would be "much more disruptive" for the area.
