The Montijo Municipal Gallery has been upgraded to improve accessibility with the addition of a lift in its historic 19th-century structure. This initiative led to the creation of an 80 m² public garden, which enhances the surrounding urban space. Designed by Ricardo Bak Gordon and Rui Mendes Arquitectura, the project emphasizes the dual role of the garden as both a functional feature for accessibility and a vibrant social space, fostering community interaction in the heart of the city.
