"Monologue A Walker in Time's Soliloquy originates from a speculative narrative imagining that the Earth has undergone a reset. The project begins with a simple question: if an ancient civilization once existed before this reset, and a monastery had been built within that forgotten world, what architectural form might it have taken?"
Monologue Cafe represents a 455-square-meter architectural project completed in 2025, designed by Seokgue Hong and SOSOKKI ANAC. The design emerges from a speculative narrative premise: imagining Earth has undergone a reset and contemplating what architectural form a monastery from a forgotten ancient civilization might have assumed. This conceptual framework guides the project's aesthetic and spatial organization. The design team collaborated with WA20 Architects for technical aspects, Natural space for landscape architecture, and Starsis as general contractor. Brick Land provided materials for the construction, while SOSOKKIV ANAC handled interior design.
