A family house originally built at the beginning of the 20th century sits on the edge of a rocky slope above the Sazava River. The client's assignment calls for expanding the existing house to provide additional space. In 2010 the building underwent a major renovation and an extension of the hanging part toward the garden. Despite those interventions, the house gradually proved too small for current needs. The project team includes Radek Ulehla and co-author Tomas Kovalcik with Klara Jenikova on the design team and consultants for geology, foundations, fire safety, heating, steel structures, and lighting.
