The client, who operates multiple business ventures including residential development, furniture manufacturing, cafe management, and hospitality services, aimed to enhance the property's appeal to international travelers and boost its occupancy rate. The 160-square-meter refurbishment was completed in 2025 and involved collaboration between Coil Kazuteru Matumura Architects and 15 Architects. The project incorporated products from numerous manufacturers including LIXIL, WOODONE, and various Japanese ceramic and tile specialists, reflecting a commitment to quality materials and local craftsmanship in the renovation.
