Katy Perry filed a temporary restraining order against Ross Elliott Hedrick, a homeless man who approached her Montecito home multiple times in May. The order requests protection for both Perry and her former partner, Orlando Bloom. Perry's lawyers claim Hedrick was arrested after his first appearance at her residence, only to return a week later. The security team expressed concerns about his behavior, detailing incidents where he allegedly held an aerosol can and lighter, and threw a blanket over a security gate. Security footage documenting Hedrick on the property was included in the filing.
The singer's lawyers claim that the 'transient' man was arrested after he turned up at the home the first time, only to return to the dwelling one week later.
Perry's security team noted that Hedrick was thought to have been holding an aerosol can and a butane lighter the first time he showed up at her dwelling.
The A-lister's security team claimed that the 43-year-old poses a great threat to Perry, adding that they believe he will continue to try to trespass onto the property.
The filing also included screenshots of footage taken by Perry's security camera, which reportedly show Hedrick on the grounds.
