Former swimming pool site to be transformed into affordable houses
Briefly

The site of a former swimming pool at Roundhills is being developed into 28 affordable houses by the Epping Forest District Council in collaboration with Qualis Commercial. This project comprises 22 two-bedroom and six three-bedroom terraced houses, constructed using a timber-frame system that prioritizes sustainable design. Scheduled for completion by year-end, the new homes will include modern amenities like air-source heat pumps and electric vehicle charging points, underscoring the council's commitment to providing high-quality, affordable housing on brownfield land.
We are on track to deliver these homes before the end of the year and look forward to handing over to the Housing Development Team and seeing the first families move in.
By creating energy-efficient properties, we are continuing to set a standard for our housebuilding programme, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and delivering high-quality housing for the future.
