Fire breaks out at Conor McGregor's Black Forge pub

A small fire occurred at the Black Forge Inn on Drimnagh Road in Dublin 12, with flames and smoke visible from the entrance. The Dublin Fire Brigade and gardaí responded to the incident. Later, workmen were seen repairing the damage to the pub's entrance. The Black Forge Inn was purchased by McGregor for €2m in 2020, with an additional €1m spent on renovations. In 2022, the pub was previously targeted in a failed petrol bomb attack that caused no damage.
Flames were visible coming from the Black Forge Inn on the Drimnagh Road in Dublin 12 early on Friday morning, with smoke seen emerging from the entrance to the building.
Workmen could be seen later in the morning repairing damage to the entrance of the Crumlin pub.
McGregor bought the Black Forge Inn for €2m in 2020 and later spent an additional €1m on renovations.
In 2022, the pub was targeted in a suspected petrol bomb attack, but the bomb failed to ignite and no damage was caused in the incident.
