Amy Schumer reduced the price of her Brooklyn townhouse from $14 million to $12.75 million after initially listing it in March to relocate back to Manhattan for her son's schooling. The couple purchased the home in 2022 for $12.25 million and invested in renovations, making it more suited to their needs. Schumer expressed sadness at leaving the neighborhood they loved, feeling the home was ready for a larger family, despite its ample space for the three of them.
He got into a good school and we're too lazy to commute 45 minutes to take our son to school every day, Schumer joked to the Wall Street Journal while discussing her decision to sell the home.
We loved what we moved into, but we've definitely made it our own. This is a home that is just ready for more people.
Schumer and Fischer originally purchased the five-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom Brooklyn Heights dwelling for $12.25 million in 2022.
This neighborhood has just been a dream to live here, and I feel very sad to leave.
