Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi Are Selling U.K. Farmhouse for $30 Million-After Living There for Just One Month
Briefly

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are listing their U.K. farmhouse for $30 million after living there for just one month. They purchased the 43-acre property for $20 million in June 2024 and completed extensive renovations. The couple decided to move to a larger estate to accommodate their horses, flown over to the U.K. DeGeneres fell in love with the home, paying $3.3 million over the asking price, but faced community resistance during renovations, prompting the swift sale decision.
When we decided to live here full time, we knew that Portia couldn't live without her horses. We needed a home that had a horse facility and pastures for them.
Kitesbridge Farm is known as an eco-farmhouse with the perfect modern rustic interior. However, the property was somewhat 'tired' when the couple purchased it.
DeGeneres reportedly paid around $3.3 million over the asking price to secure Kitesbridge Farm and enlisted a team of 70 workers for renovations.
Despite extensive renovations, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi decided to sell the farmhouse after one month in favor of a larger estate.
