The Three Travellers Pub in Dagenham is set to be renovated and managed by new owners as it temporarily closes. Current owner Mr. Akhtar confirms full renovations will enhance the property, adding a restaurant to the existing pub structure. Despite uncertainty regarding the reopening date, Akhtar suggests that preparations are underway, with the pub listed for rent at £70,000 per annum, highlighting its extensive features including a garden. The management transition is expected to finalize soon, with hopes for a swift reopening as a refreshed locale for patrons.
Mr Akhtar stated, "It is going to be under new management and they will be doing a full renovation of the property inside and out. We are just waiting for the final papers to be signed."
He expressed uncertainty regarding the reopening timeframe: "God knows - for the last three or so weeks we have been trying to remove rubbish from the pub."
The pub is set to undergo "a complete renovation" and will reopen with added features, including a "really nice-looking restaurant" alongside the traditional pub.
The pub has been listed on Zoopla available to let for £70,000 per annum, covering the pub area, restaurant, and large outdoor seating garden.
