Cary Grant was renovating his Beverly Hills estate when he met his fifth wife. Grant bought the property for $46,000 in 1946 and it was later inherited by his wife.
The Jayneses rebuilt the dated property into a contemporary-style mansion featuring six bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, completed in 2022 to enhance city and ocean views.
Jaynes mentioned that Cary Grant regretted not demolishing the original home, which had low ceilings and obstructed views, ultimately leading them to rebuild it.
Current amenities include a 52-foot pool with downtown LA views, a tennis court, a modern kitchen, spacious home theater, and a glamour room.
