Camp en Co: Stylishly Customized Camper Vans from the Netherlands

"Their speciality came about thanks to a convergence of talents and interests: Remco worked for his uncle's camper business and has carpentry skills, and Naomi, a graduate of Design Academy Eindhoven is an experienced product and interior designer. They have three young kids and like to roam the Dutch countryside themselves in a tricked-out van. Which is how they started designing their own and offering their services."

"They initially created entirely custom camper interiors, but, Naomi says, "grew tired of reinventing the wheel," so they came up with four modules that can be slotted into Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer, and Citroen Jumper vans. Naomi Bijlefeld and Remco Nooij convert vans into compact rolling residences featuring minimalist birch plywood interiors and carefully detailed accessories. Remco brings carpentry experience from his uncle's camper business while Naomi contributes product and interior design training from Design Academy Eindhoven. The couple designed four modular units that fit Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer, and Citroen Jumper platforms, replacing entirely bespoke builds. Camp en Co offers à la carte accessories made by Dutch workshops, bedding from By Mölle, and weatherproof awnings compatible with roof rails. Camper clients are based in Europe, and detailed plans are available for DIY builders worldwide. Camp en Co operates full time.
