This Iconic Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Resort Just Unveiled a Chic Redesign
"The project, led by Noble House's in-house design studio Area 600, reimagined Chatham Inn's interiors to better reflect its coastal surroundings while honoring its heritage. "We peeled back previous layers to reveal a design more authentic to the inn's historic charm and coastal setting," says Katy Clark, development director, Noble House Hotels & Resorts. Guests are welcomed into a light-filled lobby awash in sandy hues, soft textures, and subtle coastal accents that nod to the nearby shoreline."
"From there, the space flows naturally into the transformed bar, one of the inn's most inviting gathering spots, with deep blue walls, custom millwork, and a restored marble fireplace. Curated upholstered furnishings and a new layout make it just as comfortable for a pre-dinner cocktail as it is for a cozy nightcap. Next door, signature restaurant Cuvée, one of Cape Cod's top dining destinations, has adopted a more intimate atmosphere."
Chatham Inn, an 18-room property housed in a 19th-century building in Chatham, Cape Cod, completed a redesign of its lobby, bar and Michelin-starred restaurant, Cuvée. Noble House Hotels & Resorts' in-house studio Area 600 led the project to reflect coastal surroundings while honoring historic character. The lobby features light-filled spaces, sandy hues, soft textures and coastal accents that reference the nearby shoreline. The bar includes deep blue walls, custom millwork and a restored marble fireplace with curated upholstered furnishings. Cuvée now offers a more intimate atmosphere with reflective ceiling panels, grass-cloth walls and soft lighting for tasting menus focused on local seafood and seasonal ingredients. Nightly rates start from $1,000 and bookings are available at chathaminn.com.
