Located on a narrow stone-paved alley in Plaka, one of Athens' oldest neighbourhoods, a listed neoclassical townhouse dating from the 1800s underwent renovation. Architecture studio Local Local completed the renovation, working within the constraints of the building's listed status. Lorenzo Zandri is associated with the project and Doriki Techniki served as main contractor. The intervention combined conservation of historic features with contemporary updates to adapt the house to current use while maintaining the atmospheric streetscape of Plaka.
