MDN House occupies a rural site in the Penedes region, surrounded by forest, fields and vineyards. The project responds to a small town that has recently gained new life and increased population. Programmatic decisions address local needs while integrating with landscape and village fabric. The site’s proximity to vineyards and woods informs material choices, orientation and views. The house mediates between private domestic space and the broader rural setting.
