Kristin Cavallari recently disclosed on her podcast that her second breast augmentation was necessary because of a ruptured implant. She felt an intuitive urge to consult a plastic surgeon, despite being unsure about her options. Upon examination, the surgeon expressed concern about her implant, particularly the right one, which Cavallari had noticed wasn't sitting properly. Ultimately, the surgery confirmed a rupture, but Cavallari's body had developed scar tissue around it, helping to stabilize the situation.
Something in me was telling me to redo my boobs. My intuition was saying, 'Redo your boobs. Go get your boobs checked out. At least get a consultation.'
I could tell he was concerned. So what we decided was, 'OK, well, you get in there and see. See what's going on.'
He asked me if I've had any issues with it, if it's changed over the years.
There is no way of knowing how long this implant was ruptured for; my body then formed a huge piece of scar tissue around it, which is good.
