The kitchen remodel included features for convenience, but issues arose with space and design. A planned drawer for charging electronics was used for silverware instead, leaving no space for larger devices. The phone, needed for recipes and media, could not charge simultaneously in the drawer. Counter cords created unwanted clutter. A solution was found through a retractable charger with multiple cables and ports, offering an effective way to manage device charging in a compact form.
The drawer is currently where we keep our silverware, and there isn't enough room to charge anything bigger than our smart watches or our rechargeable lighters in the same drawer.
I mean, I had a whole drawer built to hide the cord clutter. Of course, I could put the charger away when I'm not using it and tuck it neatly into a drawer so I don't have to look at it, but guess how often that happens? Yeah, pretty much never.
When I came across this retractable charger for under $27 on Amazon, I knew it was the perfect solution. It not only has two retractable cords (one is a lightning cable and the other is a USB-C cable), but two extra ports as well.
