Daniel a Mid-Century Bungalow / FELT architecture & design
"A modernist bungalow from the mid-20th century was redesigned for contemporary family life."
"Our intervention introduces a slender vertical element: a tower clad in blue ceramic tiles."
A mid‑20th‑century modernist bungalow was renovated and extended to suit contemporary family life. The project functions as both a renovation and an architectural extension that reinterprets the original bungalow’s proportions. A new slender vertical tower was inserted to introduce verticality and expand usable space. The tower is clad in blue ceramic tiles, creating a strong material and color contrast with the existing building. The intervention balances respect for the bungalow’s modernist roots with new spatial and formal elements aimed at modern family living.
