Casa Alicia occupies 200 m² in the Historic Center of Comitan de Dominguez, Chiapas, and was completed in 2024. Designed by Cesar Belio + 14 Architects: ALTOVA as accommodation for the Airbnb platform. The design reinterprets vernacular architecture through a contemporary lens while integrating bioclimatic strategies that balance efficiency, aesthetics, and low maintenance. The project specifies products from Vitro, Cemex Mexico S.A. de C.V., Comex Mexico, Helvex, Interceramic, and Ternium. Photographs by Cesar Belio and Roberto Torres Valle document the intervention. The project situates contemporary living within a Magical Town context and prioritizes climate-responsive, low-maintenance solutions.
