A joint special issue solicits papers on walking, wandering, and journeying as metaphors and embodied practices within Chinese and Greek philosophical and religious traditions, including comparative approaches. Abstracts are due January 30, 2026; full manuscripts by September 30, 2026. The timeline aligns with the Way and Being workshop in Tübingen (24–30 August 2026) as a potential venue for early feedback. Accepted papers will be assigned to one of two open-access journals with an Article Processing Charge of CHF 1800. Religions is AHCI-indexed; Philosophies is ESCI and Scopus-indexed. Guest editors will advise journal placement and may redirect submissions to ensure appropriate fit. Discounts are available.
