The Southeast Early China Roundtable is inviting paper submissions for its 29th annual conference, taking place at the Elling O. Eide Center in Sarasota, Florida, from October 31 to November 2, 2025. The conference will feature keynote speaker Professor Cai Liang from the University of Notre Dame. Submissions are encouraged from various disciplines, including anthropology, archaeology, art history, history, literature, philosophy, and religious studies, focusing on pre-Song China. Abstracts of individual papers should not exceed 200 words and must be sent to Keith Knapp by September 1, 2025. The institution sponsoring the event will offer free room and board for presenters, who will need to cover their travel costs individually.
