In the last two years of medical school, learning is tied to the students' clinical experiences, using real cases encountered during their clerkships as a starting point for discussion."

Bioethics and humanities draw on clinical skills as well as those of writers, artists, and philosophers to integrate scientific and human aspects of care, disease prevention, and well-being. Educational integration spans medical school, linking foundational bioethics and interdisciplinary insights in preclinical years to case-based clinical learning in clerkships. A two-year scholar program in clinical bioethics supports residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
