HellaFunny Olympics is a weekly Saturday night comedy competition at The Function in San Francisco where San Francisco and Oakland comedians face off. Teams trade jokes back and forth in head-to-head joke-offs; individual comics remain until a joke fails and eliminates them. Semifinals pair the night's top performers, and the last comic standing wins a championship belt for their city. The winner also receives an opportunity for residency at The Function Comedy Club. Shows run about 70+ minutes with more than 15 comics on the bill and typically require RSVP with a usual $10 door price.
