Families of Israeli hostages erupted in cheers after President Donald Trump called to tell them their loved ones would return home in days following a historic peace deal between Israel and Hamas. A video released by the Hostage and Missing Families Forum shows the president speaking to relatives by phone late Wednesday and Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick standing with hostage families. The clip captures family members chanting and expressing gratitude and faith in Trump’s efforts. Family members said they trust he will fulfill the mission until all 48 hostages are home. Trump's assurance that the captives would return on Monday prompted cheers and applause.
