Zelensky insists on increased international pressure against Putin as Russia continues to bombard Ukraine. Zelensky criticized a summit where Trump met Putin without Ukraine present and said Putin secured the optics he wanted. Putin offered to meet in Moscow, but Zelensky and Ukrainian officials say Kyiv is unsafe for such travel while daily missile attacks continue. Zelensky declared that Putin cannot be trusted and accused him of playing games with the United States, but said he remains open to a meeting if it takes place outside Russia. Putin made maximalist territorial claims and referenced security guarantees possibly involving China.
