China closely monitored the recent military clashes between Pakistan and India, using them as a unique opportunity to evaluate the effectiveness of its own weaponry. Analysts noted that the conflict allowed China to observe the performance of its military technology in action against Western arms. With China supplying around 80% of Pakistan's military hardware, such confrontations could serve as a testing ground for Chinese systems, providing valuable intelligence without direct military engagement. This dynamic reflects the growing tensions in the region, particularly between China and India.
"Pakistan now serves as a proxy platform for Chinese military tech, enabling Beijing to test, refine, and demonstrate its systems without direct confrontation," said Sajjan M. Gohel.
"It is inevitable that China is watching and learning from the India-Pakistan clashes, just as it has been from the Ukraine-Russia conflict," Gohel noted.
