""We ... went through key points that could ensure an end to the bloodshed and eliminate the threat of a new Russian full scale invasion, as well as the risk of Russia failing to honour its promises, as has happened repeatedly in the past," Zelensky wrote."

""We need to take all the drafts and to brainstorm," a Ukrainian official told Axios."
A five-hour Moscow meeting between Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, and Vladimir Putin preceded a call that included Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Kushner and Witkoff gathered input from both sides and pressed Putin and Zelensky to make concessions needed to reach a deal. Ukrainian representatives Rustem Umerov and Andrii Hnatov took part and will return to Europe to brief Zelensky in London. Key sticking points remain territorial control in parts of Donbas and the precise wording and mutual interpretation of U.S. security guarantees. Parties reported significant progress but said further work is needed and additional meetings are planned.
