The World Economic Forum is a Geneva-based think tank and event organiser that holds its annual meeting in Davos each January since 1971. Nearly 3,000 high-level participants are expected, including a record nearly 400 top political leaders, more than 60 heads of state and government, and about 850 chairpersons and chief executives.
